Washington Nationals continue to rebuild after selecting Stephen Strassburg last year they now select Bryce Harper.
Stephen Strassburg is supposed to be a phenomenal pitcher coming up for the nationals. While Harper is going to be a phenomenal corner outfielder/hitter.
If any team needs it, than it would be the nationals. They have been one of the worst baseball teams in baseball for the last couple of years. The only challenge regarding Harper will be signing him to an entry-level contract.

This kid put up some sick stats. They say he is one of the best power hitters to enter the draft- ever! He skipped his JUNIOR and SENIOR year of high school to play Junior College baseball and he tore it up- I think he hit over 400 w/ 30 home runs in a wood bat league. the only problem will be trying to live up to the hype but the nationals is a good place for him...until he becomes a superstar and then the yankees will steal him!
ReplyDeleteHe was on the cover of SI as a sixteen year old...great article. I am a big baseball fan so enjoyed the post
